So here it is, a first taste of the forthcoming remixes and versions. A little mix of all the tracks featured on the EP. You can see who I’ve been lucky enough to have grace this project so you’ve got no excuse but to click on the image to go and download your copy from my Bandcamp page.

Here’s the second in my series of tropical remixes. This time it’s something from Ghana. The original is a ballad on a pretty solid funk groove. Unfortunately the vocals are a little corny so I decided to really chop this one up to it working.

As will be the case with everything in this series, it must be played loud. Then you’ll feel it!

Since doing the Sofrito remixes I just been fiending to do some more stuff along those lines. So I did. It’s a rough and ready treatment on a reat Cumbia by Peregoyo and his crew. It’s done out of love and and all due respect to the original. The record is from my collection but I recently hung out with Hugo and he gave me some stuff he wants to hear worked into a more modern club style. So, there’ll be more to come over the next few weeks…..
